Overview of Position
We are looking for an Information System Security Manager to work in the Warren, MI Area . The contractor shall serve as an ISSM, advising the Program Manager/System Manager, maintaining cybersecurity programs, and ensuring compliance with Federal, DoD, and Component regulations including DoD Instruction and DoDI . Responsibilities include achieving system and platform authorizations, continuous monitoring, and coordinating security efforts.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
- 3+ years of GRC experience or related role.
- Strong knowledge of security principles and technologies.
- Experience with security assessment tools.
- Relevant DoD/Military training and certifications.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET or NCAE-C accredited institution.
Certifications
- Acceptable certifications include Security+, CISSP, CISM, and others listed.
Clearance
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Must pass a background check and maintain security clearance levels.
