Information Security SpecialistTygart is seeking an Information Security Specialist to support a DOJ office in Clarksburg, WV. This position supports the continuous assessment and improvement of information system security throughout the full system lifecycle. The ideal candidate must possess a current Top-Secret clearance.Key Responsibilities:Review of information systems to ensure that the management, operational, personnel, and technical controls are functioning effectively during all phases of the system lifecycleIdentifying and evaluating technical and operational security risks, threats, weaknesses, and vulnerabilities associated with information systemsInformation system compliance with government standards and industry best practices, including:NIST OWASP Common Criteria DISA SANS InstituteQualifications:Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance (required).Minimum 4 years of experience in Information SecurityExperience working in Agile development environmentsExperience with Information security practices within the federal and/or state governmentsExperience utilizing Splunk for audit log review and system alertingPrevious hands-on technical experience in Networking System Administration DevelopmentStrong understanding of security controls, system lifecycle management, and vulnerability management.Preferred Qualifications:Associates DegreeCompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)Why Join Tygart Technology?
