Managing security requirements for major applications, the full-time remote Information Security Officer (ISSO) will oversee the security authorization process for computer systems, ensuring compliance with federal standards while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders. Key responsibilities Maintain an inventory of hardware and software and coordinate the development of a Contingency Plan Manage the security authorization process and ensure compliance with established procedures Write information system security documentation and assess risks in complex environments Required qualifications 5+ years of information security experience with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred Hands-on experience supporting AWS environments and High Baseline federal information systems Strong knowledge of information security engineering principles and recent experience supporting a federal government customer Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
