Information Security Engineer, Senior
Designs, implements, and manages policies and procedures to ensure database and software security. Applies advanced advisory skills or extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience writing Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures.
- 7+ years of experience in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.
- Knowledge of implementing Configuration Management process in DevSecOps Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management tools such as JIRA, Puppet, Confluence, or GitHub, and scripting.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in STEM.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing policies and procedures to ensure database and software security.
- Experience assessing information systems to determine risk exposures and develop prevention procedures and policies.
- AR 25-2 Information Assurance (IA) Certification.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Additional benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care. Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
