Information Security AnalystResponsible for implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks and data. Information security analysts are expected to stay up-to-date on the latest intelligence, including hackers' methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches. They are also responsible for preventing data loss and service interruptions by researching new technologies that will effectively protect a network.
They are responsible for insuring all networks have adequate security to prevent unauthorized access. They must ensure that all security systems are current with any software or hardware changes in the company. They must plan and document all security information in the company including physical and internet security.
Perform procedures and processes necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.(May require travel to other locations; transportation provided)MUST HAVE:5+ years' experience with:Information security administration and compliance; creating, testing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plansNetwork security, wireless security, application security, infrastructure hardening and security baselines, web server, and database securityPerforming risk/vulnerability assessments and testing of data processing systemsInstalling firewalls, data encryption and other security measuresRecommending security enhancements and purchases3+ years' experience with:Reviewing audit logs utilizing SIEM toolsInstalling and using antivirus solutions and identity managementManagement of implementation and enterprise web content filtering systemDeveloping reports about the efficiency of security policies and recommending any changesOrganizing and conducting fundamentals of safe computing and security training for employeesNICE TO HAVE:Security Certifications: Security+, CISSP, CEH, and/or Cloud+ CertificationCloud security experience
