Information Resources Lead

Leading Federal information resources support services, the full-time salaried Information Resources Lead will manage virtual library operations, coordinate research requests, and oversee taxonomy governance while collaborating with web services teams in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Manage day-to-day IR support services, including virtual library administration and research support inquiries Monitor and evaluate the Federal client virtual library, ensuring content currency and functionality Coordinate and deliver annual training sessions on virtual library resources and research tools Required qualifications MLS/MLIS or equivalent education and experience in library science, information science, or related fields Experience in providing reference, research, and literature search services Experience managing virtual library resources and subscription budgets Knowledge of taxonomy, metadata, and content organization Ability to provide user training and communicate research strategies effectively
