Must have at least 4 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and Informatica ETL tool. Must have at least 2 years of experience in Teradata. The candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects. At least 3 years of experience in design and architecture review is required. The candidate should have at least 3 years of hands on experience in design, development & build activities in Informatica and Oracle projects. Knowledge of Informatica architecture, projection design, ETL flow, advanced SQLs is required. Knowledge of data loading techniques using Informatica tool is required. Best practices in Informatica, performance improvements, implementing CDC, UDFs are required. Strong knowledge of Teradata architecture: nodes (AMP &PE), VProcs, BYNETS is required. Efficient usage of Teradata DDL statements – derived tables, volatile tables and global temporary tables is required. Hands on knowledge on Teradata concepts – primary index, partitioned primary index, secondary index, join index and compression techniques is required. Understanding the concept of locking mechanisms in Teradata is required.
Experience on query tuning mechanisms using indexes and proper usage of statistics in Teradata is required. Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems is required. Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment is required.
Experience in financial domain is required. Strong analytical skills are required.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment is required.QualificationsBasic qualifications include a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of experience with Informatica is required.
