Informatica Integration Architect (Pharma Domain)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Integration Architect with deep expertise in the Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industry to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise integration and master data management solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Integration Services, and Informatica MDM, along with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical business processes spanning Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain functions.
This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, data engineering teams, and application owners to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant integration solutions that support strategic data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver enterprise-wide integration solutions using Informatica IDMC, PowerCenter, and Informatica Integration Services.
- Design and implement batch, real-time, API-based, and event-driven integrations across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Lead the implementation and governance of Informatica MDM to establish trusted master data across customers, products, suppliers, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and organizations.
- Develop integration frameworks, standards, best practices, and reusable patterns to support enterprise scalability.
- Integrate data across key pharmaceutical platforms, including:
- SAP
- Salesforce
- Veeva CRM
- Veeva Vault
- Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS)
- Electronic Data Capture (EDC)
- Regulatory Information Management (RIM)
- Manufacturing and Quality Systems
- Data Warehouses and Data Lakes
- Partner with business and IT teams to define data integration and master data strategies.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations including GxP, FDA, HIPAA, SOX, and data governance standards.
- Drive migration and modernization initiatives from legacy integration platforms to cloud-native Informatica solutions.
- Support data quality, metadata management, lineage, and governance initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership, solution reviews, and mentoring to development and support teams.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and architecture teams to ensure highly available and secure solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise data integration and data management.
- 5+ years of experience as an Integration Architect or Solution Architect.
- Extensive hands-on experience with:
- Informatica IDMC (CAI, CDI, Cloud Data Integration, API integrations)
- Informatica PowerCenter
- Informatica MDM
- Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
- Strong experience designing and implementing cloud and hybrid integration architectures.
- Proven experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences industry.
- Strong understanding of pharma business processes across:
- Commercial Operations
- Clinical Development
- Regulatory Affairs
- Manufacturing & Quality
- Supply Chain
- Experience integrating with platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Veeva, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, and AWS.
- Strong knowledge of API-led integrations, ETL/ELT processes, messaging frameworks, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Informatica Professional Certifications (IDMC, MDM, Cloud Data Integration, or PowerCenter).
- Experience with healthcare provider (HCP), customer, product, and clinical master data domains.
- Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, and modern data lakehouse architectures.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
