Analyze, design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf application or custom built technology solutions to meet business needs. Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements. Meet with business partners to understand business needs. Responsible for overall design of the solution. Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality. Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software developers and Engineers Specific Assignments? The position is aligned with our Finance business partners and is to support their key projects o Remittance/ eligibility/ revenue reconciliation o Health benefit ratio (medical loss ratio) calculations? Partner with IT lead and business owners to o Effectively communicate development status in daily standups o Define technical requirements o Provide accurate level of effort estimates o Define scope of sprints o Define testing requirements? Teradata/SQL Server development including o Table/view creation o Macro creation/maintenance o Stored procedure creation/maintenance o Analyzing data and queries to collect relevant statistics and create applicable indexes, or for production issues o Performance tuning of queries for better performance o Partner with DBA as needed? Informatica/ SSIS o Maintain existing Solutions and Packages o Develop new solutions and packages connecting to disparate data sources o Develop portable production ready packages Experience? 3+ years of experience analyzing, designing, and building Teradata ETL solutions? Strong experience with SQL on Teradata and/ or SQL server?
Experience with Information and/ or SSIS ETL tools? Understanding of database design and modeling? Teradata Certified Professional preferred?
