Informatica ETL Developer

Responsibilities

• Support technical delivery through coding, development, and testing.
• Understand and support automated processes for building, testing (integration, SIT & UAT), documenting, and deploying at scale.
• Translate user requirements into overall architecture framework and implement new systems.
• Create test code to validate the application against client requirements.
• Understand, create, and debug database-related queries.
• Ensure complete technical documentation exists for all projects and processes.
• Maintain successful relationships with application developers.
• Optimize performance.
• Develop Informatica mappings and debug using queries on source and target systems.
• Resolve production issues successfully.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
• Experience scripting macros in MS Excel.
• 2-3 years of SQL experience.
• 2-4 years of ETL experience (SAS).
• Proven success in a team-oriented environment.
• Scala development skills.
• Experience gathering requirements with client IT and business teams.
• Good understanding of parameter file concepts and how to leverage them for good design and solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of Informatica server and application administration.
• Experience with Informatica advanced techniques (dynamic caching, memory management, parallel processing) to increase performance throughput.
• Designing and implementing Informatica 10.1 PowerCenter mappings.
• Strong SQL and related skills; ability to develop and implement complex procedures and packages using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Desire to work in an information systems environment.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Knowledge of Jira & Bitbucket.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $125,000 a year
