Informatica Data ArchitectJob Location: Tallahassee, FLJob Duration: Contract through June 2022 + possible extensionJob ObjectivesData Architect with technical knowledge and experience in programming the Informatica Master Data Management (MDM), Master Name Index (MNI), and Informatica Identity Resolution (IIR).The person in this function is considered an expert in all phases of system development and must have an understanding of business, business insight and broad understanding of multiple business areas.The person in this function will be responsible for technical research of technologies and methods for meeting the functional and nonfunctional requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesAssists with MDM component installation, configuration, customization, integration, data migration, and initial data loadsProvides Informatica MDM HUB development expertise and detailed technical knowledge of Informatica MDM productsConfigures MDM (Master Name Index) to meet requirementsLiaison with Informatica MDM for technical support and design reviewsTechnical research and evaluation of technologies, tools, databases, methods, etc.Analysis of detailed requirements and documentationInstalling, programming and implementing solutions for business requirementsContributor on project planning, organization, implementationContributor to activity definition, activity sequencing, activity resource estimating, activity duration estimating, MDM developmentContributor to risk identification, tracking, analysisContributor to issue management and trackingCommunications managementEffective communication among project stakeholders,Coordinate activities with FDLE staff required to support the projectProvide assistance to FDLE staff in the preparation of procurement documents, evaluation of proposals and contract negotiations;Provide weekly status reports to the project managerJob RequirementsExperience in installing, configuring, and integrating Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) componentsExperience in multiple areas of MDM implementations including Data Profiling, metadata acquisition, data migration, validation, reject processing and pre-landing processingModels and applies software engineering methods and techniques to the design, definition, development, evaluation, integration, and/or support of IT solutions.Experience in integration of multiple systems or applications and automating data sharing processesExperience working on Informatica MDM to design, develop, test and review & optimize Informatica MDM (Master Name Index).Hands on experience in design and configuration of landing tables, staging tables, base objects, hierarchies, foreign - key relationships, lookups, query groups, queries/custom queries and packages.Experience in multiple areas of MDM implementations including master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling, data standards, data profiling, metadata acquisition, data migration, validation, reject processing and pre- landing processing.Must have the ability to work independently or cooperatively with other software developers.Functions as a technical consultant or researcherPerforms analysis and troubleshooting of system defects and issues.Designs quality control and test procedures. Applies technical expertise to test system solutions.Uses defined procedures to configure, test and debug software. Investigates, analyzes and resolves problems on software products.With minimal supervision from more senior resources, handles portions of the projects, including services/products/technology solution evaluation/modification, data development, analysis, first draft written communications and client interaction.Gathers and evaluates client capabilities and needs.Assists with services/products/technology solution architecture design and installation.Accountable to upper management for all phases of specific projects.Experience in delivering the project in the agreed schedule, to the correct technical specification (i.e.
defined to meet user requirements) within the approved budget and other specified criteria.Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skillsStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsPreferred SkillsExperience in Informatica Master Data Management (MDM), Informatica Data Director (IDD) Application, Informatica Identity Resolution and IDQ tools on successful, enterprise level information technology projects.Experience in installing, configuring, and integrating Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) components including, Data Quality, Hub Server, Process & Search Server, Active VOS server, BES Server, PowerCenter, MDM ORS, AVOS, CMS system, Multi Domain Edition HUB Console Configurations.Experience in Active VOS workflow concept in Informatica MDM, Informatica MDM Provisioning tool and Java User Exists, Informatica MDM Service Integration Framework (SIF), expertise in Informatica MDM Hub Match and Merge rules, batch jobs and batch groups, configuring Entity base objects, Entity Types, Relationship base objects, Relationship Types and Profiles using Hierarchy tool.Understanding or hands-on experience with data quality, data profiling and metadata management, data structure classifications, workflow and CRUD processes Master Data Domain experience in one or more of the following data domains (Client, Customer, Provider, Vendor)Experience in conducting JAD sessions demonstrating onboarding new databases, multi-tenancy architecture, scalability, high availability, data governance, creating golden records, matching, merging, and unmerging, quality, mastering and Stewardship.Experience in creation and maintenance of entity objects, hierarchies, entity types, relationship objects Relationship types using Hierarchy tool to enable Hierarchy Manager (HM) in MDM HUB implementation.
