Infor XA / Infor ION Data Integration Developer


Location: Hagerstown, Maryland / Pennsylvania, Onsite

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infor XA / Infor ION Data Integration Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting integrations between Infor XA (MAPICS) and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Infor ION, ION Desk, ION Connect, XA IDF System-Link, BOD/XML integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and IBM i (AS400) environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support integrations between Infor XA and external systems such as ERP, CRM, WMS, Finance, Supplier Portals, and third-party applications.
  • Configure and maintain Infor ION connection points, document flows, data flows, logical IDs, API Gateway, IMS, and Enterprise Connector.
  • Support XA IDF System-Link, including destinations, replication settings, publish jobs, outbox/inbox processing, and BOD generation.
  • Build and maintain integrations using XML, XSLT, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, JDBC, CSV, and Flat Files.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues using ION Desk, OneView, Error BODs, XA Transaction Status, System-Link logs, and API Gateway logs.
  • Collaborate with business, infrastructure, and application teams for implementation and production support.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Infor XA (MAPICS) and Infor ION.
  • Experience with BOD/XML integration, Sync/Process/Acknowledge BODs, and event-driven integrations.
  • Knowledge of XA IDF System-Link, Power-Link, and XA transaction processing.
  • Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, XML, XSLT, JSON, SQL, and data transformation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
  • Exposure to IBM i / AS400, RPGLE, RPGXML, CL, and DB2 for i.

Preferred Skills

  • Boomi AtomSphere & Boomi API Management.
  • IBM MQ, JMS, EDI X12, AS2, SFTP/FTP.
  • Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, RPGLE, or SQL scripting.
  • Manufacturing and Supply Chain domain experience.
