Title: Infor VISUAL Finance Functional Lead (Record to Report)

Client runs Infor VISUAL for order to cash, purchase to pay, plan to produce and record to report. Its finance team knows little about VISUAL's finance modules and depends on one outside partner. You will own record to report in VISUAL, be Vantage's day-to-day contact, and build the team's own capability. An offshore technical consultant from Emergere makes the system changes you specify.
Mandatory skills
- 5+ years of hands-on Infor VISUAL finance work (GL, AR, AP, cash, period close), as a consultant or as a finance user who ran the close in VISUAL.
- Has run the month-end close in a manufacturing company.
- A working command of job costing, inventory and WIP valuation, and standard cost variances.
- Strong client-facing skills: running meetings, managing expectations, and explaining VISUAL to controllers and accountants in business terms.
- Able to travel to Vantage sites when needed.
Desired skills
- Experience with other Infor ERPs, such as Infor LN, SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial) or M3.
- Multi-site or multi-entity VISUAL setups and multi-currency.
- A VISUAL upgrade (9 to 10 or 11).
- Make-to-order or engineer-to-order manufacturing.
- Experience working alongside an incumbent implementation partner.
