Responsibilities
- Provide Infectious Diseases consultation on inpatient services
- Teach on inpatient services
- Serve as Director of Hospital Epidemiology at Highland Hospital
- Join established investigative teams working on clinical or epidemiological research (optional, depending on academic interests)
Compensation
- The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position.
- Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
- Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
- $210,000 - $230,000 a year
- Retention Bonus anticipated
Qualifications
- MD degree or equivalent
- Eligible for a New York State medical license
- Completed fellowship training in Infectious Diseases
- BE/BC in the Infectious Diseases specialty
- Post-offer health assessment
- Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
- Meet all credentialing requirements
- Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
- Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
- Open to visa sponsorship
