Infectious Disease Physician

Excellent Opportunity to join the leading Infectious Disease group based in suburban Southern New Jersey--Mt Laurel/Voorhees near Philadelphia.

Job Description

We perform 100% ID services and consultations in both Hospital and Office and provide antibiotic infusions to our ambulatory patients through our two offices and suites. We direct the Infection Control/Antibiotic Stewardship, HIV, and Travel Medicine programs at Virtua Health's 5‑hospital system providing vaccines and PrEP to our outpatients. We support and are integrated with our growing lung transplant program along with kidney, liver and soon-to-be cardiac transplants. Experience or activities in Infection Prevention or ID transplant is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% ID services and consultations in Hospital and Office settings.
• Provide antibiotic infusions to ambulatory patients.
• Direct Infection Control/Antibiotic Stewardship, HIV, and Travel Medicine programs.
• Provide vaccines and PrEP to outpatients.
• Support and collaborate with transplant programs.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Infectious Diseases or a related specialty.
• Experience in Infection Prevention or ID transplant is a plus.
