Outpatient with no nights or weekends required..Job Description – Physician Infectious Disease Family Practice / Internal Medicine PhysicianOur Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic is in need of a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician for our outpatient facility. Join a team committed to community service.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesExpectations for Infectious Disease Physicians include delivering quality care, meeting productivity goals, and collaborating with the care team to support patient health. Accommodations provided for those with disabilities.Manage a minimum of 14 patients per 8-hour shift (or 7 patients in a half-day session).
Adjustments made for longer shifts.Supervise patient scheduling to reduce no-shows and meet productivity targets.Complete documentation same-day or within 72 hours, including accurate E&M billing codes.Provide primary care services for chronic and acute conditions. HIV management is not the sole responsibility.Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff for urgent care.Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.Respond to voicemails/emails daily.Support patient retention efforts by preparing retention summaries.Supervise mid-level providers with required chart reviews or audits.Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as assigned.Maintain AAHIVM certification as required.Full-time physicians receive 4 hours of administrative time per week.QualificationsM.D. or D.O.
degree with an active medical license.Valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.Outpatient primary care experience.Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily.AAHIVM Certification required within 18 months.Active CPR/BLS certification.Education & SkillsDoctorate degree (M.D. or D.O.); board certification preferred.Ability to interpret and apply clinical, legal, and technical information.Effective communication for patient interactions, documentation, and presentations.Strong organizational skills for timely documentation and patient follow-up.Mathematical/Analytical Skills: Proficiency in applying ratios, percentages, and statistical reasoning.Reasoning Ability: Advanced critical thinking for patient care challenges.
