Part-Time Infectious Disease Physician Position – Elizabeth, NJ

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care to patients in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• Deliver modern wound management in the post-acute care setting (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily.
• Document clinical care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Potentially participate in wound care fellowship training.

Schedule & Scope

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 7 am–4 pm (approx. 45 h/week).
• Part-time: minimum 3 days per week, typically 4–5 days.
• Mobile practice within a 40–60 mile radius of practice location.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MD/DO license in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
