Infectious Disease Physician

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group (HHCMG) is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to join their integrated team at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Reporting to the Division Director of Infectious Disease, the specialist will manage inpatient consultations, outpatient office care including HIV and Hepatitis C treatment, and academic education. Practice Info

• Active Hospitalist program to care for inpatients
• No primary care

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consultations at St Vincent’s Medical Center
• Provide outpatient office care including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
• Assist with Antimicrobial Stewardship program
• Assist with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs
• Collaborate system-wide with over 20 ID physician colleagues
• Provide post graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students
• Receive appointment to Quinnipiac University at the Assistant Professor level

Shift & Schedule

• Shared call with other ID physicians

Requirements

• BC/BE Infectious disease physician
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of CT
