Outpatient position without night or weekend shifts.Job Description – Physician Infectious Disease Family Practice / Internal Medicine PhysicianOur Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic is in need of a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician for our outpatient center. You'll become part of a fully equipped, purpose-driven team committed to serving the local community.Handle a minimum of 14 patients per 8-hour shift (or 7 patients in a half-day session). Adjustments are made for longer shifts (e.g., 10 hours).Supervise patient scheduling to reduce no-shows and meet productivity milestones.Complete documentation on the day of the visit, or within 72 hours, with accurate E&M billing codes.Provide primary care services for chronic ailments (hypertension, diabetes, asthma, hyperlipidemia, COPD) and acute conditions (burns, infections, HIV, STIs, UTIs, respiratory illnesses, etc.). HIV management is not the sole focus.Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff to handle urgent care and walk-in patients.Check consultant reports, imaging, and lab results in a timely manner.Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.Address voicemails/emails daily.Support patient retention initiatives (e.g., preparing retention summaries).Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs) as needed.Provide after-hours coverage as directed.Maintain AAHIVM certification (required within one year of hire; renewed regularly).Full-time physicians receive 4 hours of protected administrative time per week per policy. QualificationsMD or DO with an active, state-appropriate medical license required.Valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.Outpatient primary care experience.Manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported setting.AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire.Active CPR/BLS certification.Education & Skills
