Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Infectious Disease Faculty Physician, you will help patients facing complex infectious diseases receive expert diagnosis and advanced treatments so they can recover effectively and achieve optimal health outcomes.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive infectious disease care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, while actively shaping the next generation of medical professionals. You will deliver direct patient care, provide clinical supervision and teaching for residents and medical students, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team within a leading academic medical center.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical expertise in Infectious Disease, a commitment to high‑quality patient care and medical education, and the ability to effectively supervise and mentor residents.
- Provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Monday‑Friday, 8 a‑5 p, with rotational weekend hospital and call coverage (average 1:4)
- Provide clinical supervision and teaching for residents and medical students
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides excellent care for all patients

Job Requirements
Required
- MD or DO degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program and an Adult Infectious Disease fellowship
- Active/eligible board certification Internal Medicine / Infectious Disease
- Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
