What you will do:
- Care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients served, as defined in the scope of service for the Nurse Epidemiologist s area of practice,
- Evaluates and monitors quality of patient care related to Infection Control.
- Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.
- Performs hospital wide surveillance activities.
- Initiates and participates in related patient care activities.
- Evaluates and monitors quality of patient care related to Infection Control.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of school of nursing is preferred.
- Certification in Infection Control preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years prior Infection Control experience in an acute care facility is necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary.
