Responsibilities
- Direct the infection prevention and control program for the community offering Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care accommodations to the residents.
- Utilize their clinical knowledge and specialized training to coordinate, deliver and maintain efficient and effective infection prevention and control programs, as well as serving as a consultant to the various departments to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Provide clinical education to employees with the goal of decreasing the risk of infectious disease transmission to the residents and staff.
