The Elite Nanny Team is seeking an experienced Infant Specialist Nanny for a private family in Washington, DC. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional nanny who has extensive newborn experience and understands the unique needs of children requiring additional developmental support.
The family has a newborn baby and a 2-year-old child with special needs and is seeking a nurturing, knowledgeable, and highly dependable nanny who can provide exceptional one-on-one care while supporting both children's development, routines, and daily needs.
Position Details
Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
Compensation: $30 $36 per hour
Position: Full-Time Infant Specialist / Special Needs Nanny
Children: Newborn and 2-year-old
Responsibilities
The Infant Specialist Nanny will take primary responsibility for the children's daily care and development. Responsibilities include:
Providing attentive newborn care and maintaining consistent daily routines
Supporting sleep training and healthy sleep habits
Changing diapers and maintaining excellent infant hygiene
Introducing age-appropriate soft foods and supporting feeding milestones
Planning engaging developmental play activities
Supporting the 2-year-old's individual developmental needs
Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
Communicating professionally with parents regarding daily routines, milestones, and progress
Following family preferences and established childcare routines
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced infant specialist, newborn nanny, or special needs nanny who is confident caring for multiple children with different developmental stages. Candidates should demonstrate patience, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for child development.
Experience with newborn care, sleep training, developmental activities, and special needs childcare is highly valued.
