Industrial Project Manager (MEP Construction)We are seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager with mechanical construction expertise to lead projects in chemical, food and beverage, automotive, oil and gas, and manufacturing environments. This role manages projects from bid through closeout, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. The position is based in Kansas City with 15–20% regional travel to industrial jobsites.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $80,000–$125,000, based on experienceRetirement: 401(k) with 3% fully vested company contribution plus discretionary matchTime Off: Immediate PTO, holidays, birthday pay, and volunteer time offInsurance: Company-paid life, disability, and EAP; medical with HSA, dental, and visionProfessional Development: Industry training and educational assistance after two yearsKey ResponsibilitiesManage mechanical construction projects or support senior leaders on large-scale industrial buildsLead field teams and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project documentationManage schedules, budgets, profitability, and project accountingCommunicate effectively with clients, inspectors, and internal teamsEnsure safety, regulatory, and contractual compliance on all projectsQualificationsMinimum 5 years of mechanical construction project management experience in industrial settingsHigh school diploma/GED plus a bachelor's degree in construction or mechanical engineering, 5+ years of mechanical trade experience, or equivalent combinationValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to pass background check and drug screeningStrong knowledge of contracts, budgeting, safety, and industrial regulatory requirementsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar toolsKnowledge of industrial codes, OSHA regulations, HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systemsPMP or similar project management certificationExperience managing multi-million-dollar industrial mechanical projectsProven leadership of field crews and multiple subcontractorsPhysical RequirementsRegular site visits involving walking uneven terrain, climbing ladders, and stairsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyWork in industrial and outdoor environments with weather exposure15–20% regional travelStandard office work with extended computer use
