Job description:
We are seeking experienced Industrial Millwrights to join our maintenance team. This role involves working on heavy industrial equipment in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment. If you’re skilled in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and precision repair, this is a strong long-term opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, cranes, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Perform precision alignments, rigging, welding, fabrication, and equipment rebuilds
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform root-cause analysis to minimize downtime
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work orders
- Work safely around molten metal, high-temperature equipment, and heavy industrial processes
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams
Qualifications
- Industrial millwright experience in a steel mill, foundry, or heavy manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong skills in mechanical repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and rotating equipment
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in hot industrial conditions
- Welding and fabrication ability required (SMAW, MIG, oxy-fuel cutting)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and respond to emergency maintenance needs
- Safety-focused mindset and familiarity with industrial safety procedures
