Sierra Processing, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for asafetyconscious Industrial Mechanic to join the team at our recycling plant inAlbany, NY
Hourly Rate: $25-$28/ hour based on experience
Shift :10:30A-8:00P
Schedule : Mon-Fri / 50-55 hours per week.
Typical job duties include:
- Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, air, andhydraulic systemson MVR equipment such as conveyors, paper and cardboard screen, ballistic screen, optical screen, balers, and others.
- Will power wash heavy equipment during routine preventative maintenance.
- Complete required paperwork utilizing equipment maintenance software program.
- Reviews and completes repairs identified on Daily Inspection Reports.
- Conductssafetychecks on vehicles and equipment.
- Performs services calls for emergency breakdowns that may take place in the MRF.
- Other duties as assigned
