Our client, a leading manufacturer of building materials in the Hazleton, PA area is hiring a maintenance manager for 1st shift Monday-Friday. Our client offers competitive salary, annual bonus and great benefits.
The Maintenance Manager leads the site's Maintenance Department, overseeing facility and equipment maintenance, managing related purchasing activities, and reporting directly to the Plant Manager.

How You Will Contribute
- Lead and manage all plant maintenance operations, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintain an accurate computerized maintenance inventory system.
- Coordinate contractors and oversee equipment installations, repairs, and upgrades.
- Review maintenance reports, monitor major overhauls, and ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance.
- Supervise maintenance personnel, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training and development.
- Partner with Engineering on capital projects (CAPEX) and site improvement initiatives.
- Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment.
- Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget.
- Oversee the site's work order system and maintenance planning processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance performance reports and improvement plans.
- Provide on-call support to ensure 24/7 plant operational reliability.

- 1 Parts coordinator
What You Need to Succeed
- 10+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- 5+ years of leadership experience supervising maintenance teams or leading maintenance projects.
- Experience repairing/creating effective preventative maintenance strategies
- Strong Electrical and PLC Background – certification a plus.
- Experience using FIIX CMMS or similar maintenance management software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
