Overview
Industrial Hygiene Specialist (Recruitment ID # ) / Senior Industrial Hygienist (Recruitment ID # ) – Career ladder recruitment to fill role at different level within classification series. This position supports Environmental Health & Safety Department at Main Campus - UCR.
Responsibilities
- Develop, recommend, and implement programs, policies, and procedures for recognition, measurement, evaluation, and control of potential health and safety hazards.
- Provide daily industrial hygiene and safety programmatic support or services as needed.
- Contribute and develop advanced concepts, standards, and techniques in support of EH&S and campus objectives and goals.
Qualifications
- Current work authorization for employment at UCR.
- Varying levels of experience and education suitable for Industrial Hygiene Specialist or Senior Industrial Hygienist positions (require min qualifications as per recruitment).
- Relevant licensure and certifications in industrial hygiene are preferred.
Compensation
Salary range $73,600 – $133,200 annually, with expected pay up to $103,400.
Employment Details
Full-time (100%). General supervision. 8AM–5PM. Open until filled. Not eligible for employee referral bonus or UC internal job.
