Uniforms, prescription safety glasses and boots are provided.We are seeking a proficient heavy equipment mechanic to keep our facility running smoothly and efficiently.As our new Mobile Equipment Mechanic, you will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul a variety of equipment.Use your experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to maintain our loaders, forklift trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and man lifts.Ensure all safeguards of equipment are installed as needed to conform to governmental regulations.Maintain safe and environmentally sound behavior and ensure that proper work procedures and practices are followed.Comply with all safety standards and regulations driven by our SAFE cultureRead and comprehend operation and parts manualsMust be able to work from elevated levels, operating mobile equipment, pneumatic and electrical hand tools / jacks.Accurately recording hours and components for each task*Full job description available to those with expressed mutual interest.Ability to follow instructions and understand diagnostic toolsReliability of attendanceHigh School diploma or equivalent GEDRead and comprehend operation and parts manualsPrior heavy equipment maintenance experience requiredAbility to lift 50 lbs.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
