Industrial High Lift Technician CleanerABM is hiring an Industrial High Lift Technician Cleaner to support operations at a premier aerospace manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in construction, industrial maintenance, commercial roofing, warehouse operations, manufacturing, facility services, or other skilled trades.In this role, you will operate aerial lift equipment and perform high-access cleaning and facility support work on overhead structures, mechanical systems, and production areas. For information about ABM's benefits, visit Annual Benefits-Frontline.Shift & ScheduleFull-TimeEvening Shift 3:00PM-1:00AMTuesday through Saturday- subject to change based on business needsOvertime and weekend work may be required based on project schedules and facility needsResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Perform detailed cleaning of commercial and industrial areas, including production floors, offices, and high-traffic zones.Operate high lift equipment (e.g., scissor lifts, boom lifts) to clean elevated surfaces such as overhead piping, HVAC systems, and structural beams.Adhere to facility protocols and cleanliness standards specific to aerospace environments.Safely handle and apply industrial-grade cleaning agents.Conduct pre-use inspections of lift equipment and report any malfunctions.Follow strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE compliance.Maintain accurate cleaning logs, equipment checklists, and safety documentation.Coordinate with facility teams to align cleaning schedules with operational needs and minimize disruption.Assist in emergency response cleanups (e.g., chemical spills, fire suppression residue) and follow emergency protocols.Identify and report facility issues such as leaks, corrosion, or structural damage.Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and accountability of cleaning tools and lift equipment.Dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental and hazardous waste guidelines.Support contamination control procedures in cleanroom or controlled environments, if applicable.Promote sustainability by minimizing chemical use and water waste.QualificationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Six (6) months or more of experience in construction, industrial cleaning, manufacturing or aerospace, facility maintenance, warehouse, or commercial cleaning environments preferred.Must be Certified in aerial lift operation or willing to become certified on the job (e.g., OSHA-compliant training, OSHA MEWP Certification).Experience working at heights using aerial lifts, scaffolding, ladders, or elevated work platforms preferred.Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, or other Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) preferred.Strong commitment to safety and hazard awareness.Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and written protocols.Ability to complete inspection reports and basic documentation.Aerial lift certification preferred; company-provided training available for qualified candidates.Must pass a background-MVR and drug screening.Physical & Safety RequirementsAbility to work at heights up to 50 feet.Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.Comfortable working in industrial, manufacturing, and construction-like environments.Must wear required PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, safety harnesses, and other fall-protection equipment.Must comply with all OSHA, customer, and company safety requirements.Why Join ABM?Stable, year-round workWeekly payOpportunity to earn aerial lift certifications and expand industrial skillsOvertime opportunitiesComprehensive benefits packageWork in a state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing facilityCareer growth with a global facilities services leaderAbout UsABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world's largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions.
