Job Summary:
Assists with the design, improvement, and installation of integrated manufacturing or administrative systems which use people, materials, information, equipment, and energy.
Please explain the candidate’s day to day roles and responsibilities?
• Support EMF with sequence cart design and coordinate with vendors from design through production.
• Assist with Rack parts audits and optimize plant storage space.
• Support the storage identification process and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and maintaining process documentation for ongoing projects.
• Support PFEP documentation and updates.
• Contributes by applying the knowledge of Operations Excellence principles and practices as they are applied to Cummins.
• Assists the work by utilizing continuous improvement tools, following the Cummins Operations Excellence Standards, and contributes to the development of logistics standards and working methods.
o to proactively identify real issues and opportunities, develop prioritized improvement initiatives and coach them through to successful implementation.
• Contributes by utilizing business knowledge and experience to identify growth opportunities for the functions internal to plant to improve outcomes for the customer.
