Weekly hours are 40-45-- OT offered over 40 hours. Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and workflows for circuit card assemblies, electronics box assemblies, and ground support equipment for those assemblies. Programming of SMT equipment (Screen Printers, Placement and Reflow ovens). Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions. Support new product introductions by developing and validating manufacturing processes. Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions. Understanding engineering drawings and translating them into work instructions for manufacturing technicians. Design manufacturing fixtures for use by production technicians (SolidWorks CAD Software). Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role. Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, process design, and quality systems. Experience with CAD software and manufacturing tools. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
