PositionSummary

TheIndustrialElectricalSuperintendentisresponsibleforoverseeingallfieldoperationsforindustrialelectricalconstructionprojectswhileensuringworkiscompletedsafely,onschedule,withinbudget,andinaccordancewithcustomerspecificationsandcompanyqualitystandards.Thisroleprovidesleadershiptofieldpersonnel,coordinateswithprojectmanagement,andservesastheprimaryfieldrepresentativeforclientsandsubcontractors.

Theidealcandidatehasextensiveexperienceinautomotivemanufacturingfacilitiesandpossessesastrongbackgroundinindustrialelectricalinstallations,controls,andcommissioning.

EssentialResponsibilities

ProjectLeadership

  • Leadandsuperviseelectricalforemen,leads,andelectriciansonindustrialconstructionprojects.
  • Coordinatedailyfieldactivitiestomaintainprojectschedulesandproductivity.
  • Planmanpowerrequirementsandallocatelaboreffectively.
  • Conductdailyplanningmeetingsandcommunicateprojectgoalstofieldpersonnel.
  • WorkcloselywithProjectManagerstoidentifyandresolvefieldissues.

IndustrialElectricalInstallation

  • Oversee installation of:
    • Cabletraysystems
    • Powerdistributionsystems
    • 480Velectricalsystems
    • Industrialcontrolsystems
    • PLC-controlledequipment
    • VariableFrequencyDrives(VFDs)
    • EmergencyStop(E-Stop)systems
    • Profinetindustrialcommunicationnetworks
  • Ensureinstallationscomplywithprojectdrawings,specifications,NECrequirements,andcustomerstandards.

AutomotiveManufacturingExperience

  • Manageelectricalinstallationswithinautomotivemanufacturingfacilities.
  • Coordinateinstallationsaroundactiveproductionenvironments.
  • UnderstandOEMstandardsandclient-specificinstallationrequirements.
  • Supportequipmentinstallations,productionlinemodifications,andmanufacturingexpansions.

Safety&Compliance

  • Promoteastrongsafetycultureandleadbyexample.
  • Conductdailysafetymeetingsandjobhazardanalyses.
  • EnsurecompliancewithOSHAregulationsandcompanysafetypolicies.
  • Completeandmaintainallrequiredsafetydocumentation.
  • Investigateincidentsandimplementcorrectiveactionswhennecessary.

Documentation&Reporting

  • Maintainaccuratedailyreportsdocumentingprojectprogress.
  • Trackandreportemployeelaborhours.
  • Maintaininstallationdocumentationandqualityrecords.
  • Reviewandverifycompletedworkbeforesubmittingforinspection.
  • Coordinatepunchlistcompletionandprojectcloseoutdocumentation.
  • AssistwithRFIs,changedocumentation,andfieldreports.

Organization&Planning

  • Maintainorganizedprojectdocumentationandfieldrecords.
  • Coordinatedeliveriesandmaterialmanagement.
  • Scheduleinspectionsandcoordinatesubcontractoractivities.
  • Ensuretools,equipment,andmaterialsareavailabletomaintainproductivity.
  • Identifypotentialscheduleimpactsandcommunicatethemproactively.

RequiredQualifications

  • 7+yearsofindustrialelectricalconstructionexperience.
  • 3+yearsinaSuperintendentorForemanleadershiprole.
  • Extensiveexperienceworkinginautomotivemanufacturingfacilities.
  • Strongknowledgeof:
    • Cabletraysystems
    • PLCsystems
    • 480Vpowerandcontrolsystems
    • VariableFrequencyDrives(VFDs)
    • EmergencyStop(E-Stop)circuits
    • Profinetcommunicationsystems
  • Abilitytoreadandinterpretelectricaldrawings,one-linediagrams,andcontrolschematics.
  • Strongleadership,organizational,andcommunicationskills.
  • Experiencecoordinatingmultiplecrewssimultaneously.
  • ProficientwithMicrosoftOffice,Excel,anddigitalreportingplatforms.
  • Abilitytomaintaindetaileddocumentationandlaborreports.
