Responsibilities
- Design and facilitate immersive, hands‑on learning modules that bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real‑world industrial maintenance.
- Guide students through the lifecycle of automated equipment, from routine preventive maintenance to complex repair and system optimization.
- Demonstrate the integration of PLC programming, robotics, and industrial networking to provide a holistic view of modern manufacturing systems.
- Cultivate critical thinking and diagnostic workflows, enabling students to efficiently resolve malfunctions in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Foster a culture of safety by enforcing rigorous industry standards and best practices during all laboratory and simulation exercises.
- Provide personalized mentorship to help students build the technical confidence required for successful careers in high‑tech manufacturing.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent, hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance or automation.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting AC/DC electrical systems, mechanical drives, and fluid power systems.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair PLC‑controlled equipment and automated machinery.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical processes to diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills
- 8+ years of extensive experience within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Direct experience with industrial robot programming and integration.
- Previous exposure to industrial networking protocols and instrumentation.
