Individual Giving Manager
Phoenix, AZ
SARRC is seeking a strategic, relationship-focused Individual Giving Manager to power our mission of advancing research and providing lifelong support for individuals with autism and their families.
In this role, you will lead high-impact strategy across two vital funding streams: mid-level giving and legacy/planned giving. You will be the architect of a sustainable individual donor pipeline while translating donor passion into meaningful support through authentic relationship building, data-informed outreach, and inspiring stewardship.

Your Role
  • Portfolio Strategy & Growth: Design and execute cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans to grow and retain a portfolio of mid-level donors ($1,000-$9,999) and prospective planned givers.
  • Pipeline Development: Identify rising donors from SARRC's grassroots, event, and annual giving bases, moving them seamlessly into higher-tier giving relationships.
  • Legacy Program Advancement: Build awareness of planned giving opportunities (bequests, beneficiary designations, trusts) and guide donors through meaningful legacy planning conversations.
  • Donor-Centric Communications: Draft compelling appeal letters, impact updates, proposals, and personalized stewardship messages that clearly articulate SARRC's vision and community impact.
  • Data & Workflow Management: Utilize CRM tools to track donor interactions, evaluate pipeline health, and optimize donor retention rates.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors' degree with a business-related and/or social services specialization from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience within a not-for-profit in a fundraising and public relations role.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, or similar customer management databases) to track moves management metrics.
  • Understanding of basic planned giving vehicles (e.g., wills, trusts, IRA distributions) and ability to work with our Professional Advisory Council.
  • CFRE preferred, not required.
Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Ability to flex schedule for evening and weekend availability as needed
