Production Support SpecialistThis position supports the production team by ensuring materials and components are available and accurately supplied to meet job requirements. This role is responsible for inventory control, material tracking, and assisting with job changeovers and equipment upkeep to maintain a smooth production flow.Primary Responsibilities:Fulfill material/component orders for production jobsVerify materials match job specificationsIssue raw materials into the ERP systemMaintain accurate and timely ERP entriesComplete all documentation in accordance with quality system proceduresStay current on quality system updates impacting the rolePerform cycle counts to ensure part availability and inventory accuracyOrder necessary manufacturing suppliesMonitor job progress and performance using system reportsConduct regular rounds (every 2 hours) to ensure dryers and hoppers are full and functioningClean equipment following job completionAssist with job changeovers as neededOther duties as assigned by the supervisorQualifications and Skill Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required; relevant college coursework preferredValid identification and the ability to legally work in the United StatesStrong written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer proficiency; experience with Epicor and Microsoft Office Suite is a plusAbility to interpret written, oral, and diagram-based instructionsDemonstrated time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasksPrior experience in a manufacturing environment preferredForklift operation experience preferredMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassistedMust be able to safely work with chemicalsCapable of working flexible hours as neededBenefits IncludeMedical, dental, visionSTD/LTDLife InsurancePet InsuranceTuition ReimbursementGym Reimbursement
