Indiana Licensed Collections Specialist

To recover losses from assigned accounts, the full-time Indiana Licensed Collections Specialist will manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, initiating contact with debtors and documenting collection activities in a hybrid work environment, spending two days per week onsite. Key responsibilities Manage a portfolio of assigned delinquent accounts and initiate contact with debtors through various communication methods Document all collection activities in compliance with client standards and Federal Regulations Provide exceptional customer service to debtors, addressing inquiries and negotiating payment arrangements Required qualifications Must possess an Indiana Collections Specialist license upon placement High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or related fields preferred 0-1 years of experience in collections or related customer service roles, preferably in a financial environment Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to communicate effectively with debtors Basic computing skills and familiarity with collections software and CRM systems
