Onsite Contract General

About Griot Academy
For more than 20 years, Griot Academy has provided after-school enrichment to school communities, including independent, faith-based and charter schools. Today, Griot offers a broad range of Pre-K 8 enrichment programs, with Chess, Coding, Robotics, Math and AI Literacy among our most popular offerings.

The opportunity
We're looking for a small number of independent school-partnership representatives who already have relationships with school leaders, enrichment or auxiliary-program directors, PTAs or other education decision-makers. This is flexible, independent work designed to fit alongside your existing professional commitments. You'll work with schools in your own local area. Much of the work can be done by phone, email or Zoom, but when a school asks to meet, you'll meet with its leaders in person to present Griot's programs as our partner.

How you're paid
20% of first-year collected revenue from every new school account you originate. This is an independent contractor (1099), commission-only role.

How it works
• Independent and commission-based, with no quotas or fixed schedule
• You can make introductions, develop the relationship or remain involved through the sale, depending on how you prefer to work
• Griot handles proposals, program design, instructors, curriculum, equipment, insurance documentation and parent registration
• Terms, account ownership and commission payments are documented in a written agreement before you begin

More ways to grow each account
Schools aren't limited to a single offering. A school might begin with Chess, Coding, Robotics, Math, AI Literacy or another enrichment offering and add more programs as the relationship develops.

Who we're looking for
• Existing relationships with schools: current or former principals, administrators, educators, education sales professionals, consultants or PTA leaders
• Ideally, you know several schools in the same area and can build strong relationships within that community
• Able to meet school leaders in person in your local area when a school requests it
• Professional, reliable and comfortable opening conversations with decision-makers

How to apply
Email with your resume and a short note on the schools you know.
