Ideally, this person should have some combination of third-party staffing agency experience and in-house corporate recruiting expertise and account management — with a strong command of the GovCon talent landscape.
This is a high-impact, fractional role with direct influence on the firm's growth and talent strategy.Key Responsibilities:Support the sourcing and recruitment lifecycle across a variety of technical, functional, and cleared positionsPartner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define job requirements, and craft targeted recruitment strategiesSource qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, employee referrals, and personal networksConduct thorough initial screenings to evaluate candidates against technical requirements, clearance eligibility, and cultural fitCoordinate and schedule interviews, manage candidate pipelines, and ensure timely follow-up at every stage of the processServe as a trusted advisor to both hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring processDeliver an exceptional candidate experience from first outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding handoffRequirements:Basic Qualifications:A minimum of four years of full-life cycle recruiting ideally in the government contracting spaceHighly comfortable sourcing and screening candidates utilizing a variety of tools and techniquesProven ability to effectively manage candidate pipelines and facilitating progression of candidate lifecycleExperience developing and executing proactive recruitment sourcing, engagement and branding strategiesHighly communicative and vigilant about maintaining communication and applicant tracking systemsMust have experience conducting intake calls with hiring managers, extracting information from stakeholders and other team membersExcellent business acumen and strong attention to detailMust have a background in understanding how to identify inefficiencies in all stages of the hiring processes and provide feedback to leadershipThorough understanding of federal procurement process of government contractsPreferred Qualifications:Background in both 3rd party staffing and corporate recruitingHighly experienced in candidates sourcing techniques, tools etc.Benefits:As an independent consulting position, there are no benefits associated with this position.
