We are seeking experienced, independent sales professionals who understand the importance of discretion, authenticity, and long-term collector relationships.

This is not an entry-level position or a paid digital marketing consulting opportunity.

The Opportunity

We are looking to establish professional relationships with independent fine art sales representatives and collector referral partners who have experience introducing high-value products to discerning buyers.

Successful candidates will be comfortable working independently, cultivating relationships, and representing fine artwork without relying on aggressive sales techniques or mass-market promotional strategies.

We are particularly interested in professionals with established networks in fine art collecting, luxury residential design, corporate collections, and private client services.

Commission Growth Potential

Sawyer Fine Art LLC operates with a structured pricing model in which original artwork prices increase after every five qualifying original sales.
As the value of our original artwork increases, so does the potential dollar amount earned on each qualifying commission.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional sales experience, with 5 or more years preferred.
- Demonstrated experience selling fine art, luxury goods, or other high-value products.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with discerning clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of relationship-based and consultative sales.
- Ability to independently identify and approach qualified prospective buyers.
- Professional references or verifiable examples of relevant sales experience.

High-Value Sales Experience Required

Applicants must have at least three years of relevant professional sales experience and demonstrated experience completing or substantially facilitating individual sales of $10,000 USD or more.
Experience with individual transactions exceeding $25,000 USD is strongly preferred.
Candidates must be confident presenting premium-priced artwork to discerning buyers without relying on discounts, pressure tactics, or aggressive sales methods.

As Sawyer Fine Art LLC's collections and original artwork pricing continue to evolve, representatives must be comfortable discussing increasingly significant acquisitions with qualified collectors.

Preferred backgrounds include:

- Fine art gallery sales and art consulting
- Private art advisory services
- Luxury interior design and residential procurement
- High-end real estate and home staging
- Corporate art acquisition
- Luxury goods and private client sales

Existing relationships with collectors, designers, art advisors, or luxury buyers are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Representatives will independently:
- Identify and develop relationships with qualified prospective art collectors.
- Introduce original artwork and limited-edition prints to appropriate buyers.
- Build professional connections with art consultants, interior designers, luxury real estate professionals, and corporate buyers.
- Communicate the artistic vision and significance of each piece using approved information.
- Direct interested collectors to Sawyer Fine Art LLC for inquiries and purchases.
- Generate meaningful collector introductions and attributable artwork sales.
- Maintain the professional standards and discretion expected in the luxury fine art market.

Compensation

100% Commission-Based No Base Salary

Our commission structure is designed to reward both new collector acquisition and successful repeat business.

First Qualifying Purchase: 8% Commission

Representatives earn 8% on the first qualifying artwork purchase made by each newly referred collector.

Second Qualifying Purchase: 4% Commission

Representatives earn an additional 4% on that collector's second qualifying artwork purchase.
There is no predetermined cap on total commissions earned from qualifying referrals.

Commissions are calculated on qualifying artwork revenue, excluding applicable taxes, shipping charges, refunds, and canceled transactions.

Commission eligibility, referral attribution, and payment timing will be established in a written agreement.

CommissionTracking Shopify Collabs

Sawyer Fine Art LLC uses Shopify Collabs to support its affiliate referral program.
Approved representatives will receive access to applicable referral tools for tracking eligible sales and commissions.

The first-purchase and second-purchase commission structure will be documented in the representative agreement. Any portion that cannot be automated through Shopify Collabs will require an agreed supplemental tracking and payment process.

Candidates are encouraged to review Shopify Collabs before applying.

Professional Representation Standards

Protecting the integrity of the artwork and the relationships we build with collectors is essential.

Representatives must:
- Use approved artwork images, descriptions, and pricing.
- Communicate honestly and professionally.
- Respect collector privacy and confidentiality.
- Avoid misleading claims, unsolicited mass messaging, and high-pressure sales tactics.
- Obtain written authorization before using paid advertising or making public claims on behalf of Sawyer Fine Art LLC.
- Refrain from offering unauthorized discounts, negotiating artwork prices, or promising investment appreciation.
- Direct all artwork purchases and payments through authorized Sawyer Fine Art LLC channels.

Representatives may not enter into agreements or make binding commitments on behalf of Sawyer Fine Art LLC without written authorization.

Independent Contractor Partnership

This opportunity begins with a 90-day initial partnership period, with the possibility of continuing by mutual agreement.

Representatives operate independently and determine their own lawful methods of identifying and developing prospective collector relationships, subject to agreed brand representation and compliance standards.

There are no upfront marketing fees, consulting retainers, or company-funded advertising commitments associated with this opportunity.

Representatives are responsible for their ordinary business expenses unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Final independent-contractor classification, commission terms, and payment arrangements are subject to a written agreement and applicable law.
