Orlando EV Mobility Solutions is seeking reliable, professional independent-contractor delivery drivers to deliver and retrieve mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and other rental equipment throughout the greater Orlando area.
PAY:
• $10 base pay for each assigned delivery or pickup
• Additional $0.65 per approved mile driven
• Mileage compensation is paid in addition to the base pay
• Weekly settlements issued every Friday
SERVICE AREAS:
• Disney-area resorts and surrounding locations
• Universal Orlando and International Drive
• Port Canaveral and Cape Canaveral
• Legoland and nearby communities
• Greater Orlando and surrounding areas
AVAILABILITY:
We are primarily seeking drivers who are available Friday through Sunday. Additional weekday assignments may be available based on business needs.
Morning, evening, and full-day availability are welcome.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collect equipment from our Orlando location
• Deliver and retrieve equipment safely, professionally, and on schedule
• Coordinate pickup when a customer’s rental period ends
• Provide customers with accurate estimated arrival times
• Communicate with customers by phone or text professionally
• Take all required photographs during deliveries and pickups
• Handle mobility equipment with care
• Promptly report delays, damage, or customer concerns
• Maintain accurate mileage and assignment records
REQUIREMENTS:
• Reliable vehicle with sufficient space to transport mobility equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Current automobile insurance
• Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
• Professional, dependable, and able to follow instructions
• Ability to safely load, transport, and unload rental equipment
• Willingness to complete a background check
DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED AFTER APPROVAL:
Approved drivers must securely provide a valid driver’s license, Social Security card, proof of current automobile insurance, completed IRS Form W-9, and any additional independent-contractor onboarding documentation.
This is an independent-contractor position. Drivers are responsible for their own vehicle, fuel, insurance, taxes, and operating expenses.
