Independent Adjuster Claims Advocate

Managing a portfolio of new claims, the full-time remote Claims Advocate will investigate liability, assess claims, and negotiate settlements while collaborating with adjusters and external vendors to ensure accurate coverage determination. Key responsibilities Conduct thorough investigations to identify liable third parties and assess liability Initiate, document, and manage all aspects of general liability cases from identification through final resolution Review and interpret policy language to align with company policies and legal requirements Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field is preferred Minimum of 3+ years in general liability claims, focusing on commercial property claims handling Strong understanding of commercial property and liability insurance policies, as well as relevant state and federal subrogation laws Proven ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with a range of stakeholders Candidates must have, or be able to promptly obtain, any and all appropriate Independent Adjuster License(s)
