We believe our people are our greatest asset, and we invest in creating opportunities for advancement while recognizing hard work and dedication.DMA Industries is seeking a motivated and experienced Inbound Supervisor - Receiving to lead our receiving operations within our Distribution Center.This role is responsible for overseeing all inbound freight activities, including replenishment, receiving, unloading, quality inspections, inventory reconciliation, staging, and put-away of imported containers, domestic vendor shipments, and intercompany transfers.The Inbound Supervisor - Receiving leads a team of Quality Control Inspectors and Material Handling Associates while ensuring all inbound shipments are processed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting customer order fulfillment.We're looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching teams, solving problems, improving processes, and driving operational excellence.What You'll Do:Lead and supervise all daily inbound receiving operations.Manage the unloading, inspection, staging, and put-away of inbound freight.Verify shipments against manifests and investigate shortages, overages, or damaged goods.Maintain and update the Master Receiving Schedule.Ensure compliance with all receiving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Supervise and coach Quality Control Inspectors and Material Handling Associates.Coordinate staffing and daily labor assignments to meet operational demands.Monitor department productivity and report KPI performance.Partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and Warehouse leadership.Maintain organized receiving documentation and records.Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.Promote a culture focused on safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Requirements:What We're Looking For:Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree preferredMinimum 3 years of warehouse receiving, shipping, or distribution experiencePrevious supervisory experience leading teams of 3–10 employeesExperience working in fast-paced warehouse or distribution environmentsStrong computer skills including:Microsoft ExcelMicrosoft WordEmailERP/Warehouse Management SystemsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication and leadership abilitiesAbility to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlinesPreferred Skills:Experience with inventory control and receiving reconciliationKPI reporting and operational metricsLean or continuous improvement mindsetProblem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to coach and develop employeesWhat Makes You Successful:Lead by example and enjoy working alongside your teamStay organized in a fast-paced environmentCommunicate effectively across departmentsTake ownership and solve problems proactivelyHold yourself and your team accountableFocus on accuracy, safety, and continuous improvementPhysical Requirements:Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workdayAbility to lift up to 50 pounds (assistance required for heavier items)Comfortable working in a warehouse environmentAbility to use computers and warehouse equipment as neededAdditional Information:Schedule may change based on business needs.Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.DMA Industries maintains a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.DMA Industries is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
