New York University’s Institute for the Study of the Ancient World (ISAW) invites scholars for two two-year Visiting Assistant Professorships starting Sep 1, 2027. Appointees will conduct research, teach a graduate seminar at ISAW, and teach one undergraduate course in an NYU department annually.
Applicants should be early-career scholars with PhDs (or in final year) and are expected to be in residence, participate in seminars, and mentor graduate students.
