In-Process Inspector (Line Check)In-Process Inspector (Line Checker) is responsible for pulling and evaluating samples from each press during production. Ability to review job travelers, drawings, control plans, and other documented specifications for product requirements and to ensure conformance to those specifications. Use of a microscope, magnifying glass, and various other hand tools such as tweezers and scissors.
Use of measurement and test equipment such as Visions systems, Optical comparators, durometers, calipers, micrometers, leak test units, and special testing devices.Job DutiesInspect manufactured products for conformance to specifications.Separate components with defects, including but not limited to cracks, marks, holes, tears, and contamination.Notify the supervisor of excessive defects on any particular component.Document accepted/rejected counts on product paperwork.Speak to others to convey information effectively.Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMust be able to accurately weigh, count, and document inspection resultsSome experience in entering data into a computer is requiredStrong attention to detailPhysical RequirementsOccasionally: walk, enter data, ten-keyFrequently: sitConstantly: reach, grab, touchOther: Vision – near and medium distance/color, hearing, Cleanroom Personnel must be able to don and doff appropriate attire
