In-House Real Estate & Project Development Attorney

Latitude is working with a company in the renewable energy space that is adding an Associate Legal Counsel to its Real Estate and Project Development team in Nashville. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of real estate experience, has led site control and land use transactions independently, and is ready to be a trusted advisor to project development, external affairs, and project finance teams. This is a hands‑on role: expect to manage purchase options, easements, and closings from start to finish, with real ownership over your deal flow. The ideal candidate will be able to work at the company's office location in Nashville, TN. Remote candidates must have 4+ years of commercial real estate experience, including working with renewable energy clients.
Basic Requirements for the In-House Real Estate & Project Development Attorney
- 4+ years of real estate experience at a top-tier law firm or comparable in-house legal department
- Substantial, independent experience with purchase and sale transactions, title and survey review, and closing
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional business teams
- Renewable energy experience is a plus, but not required
- Active bar admission in good standing in at least one state
- Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
- Outstanding professional references from former supervisors
Position Details of the In-House Real Estate & Project Development Attorney

Compensation
Pay: The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $210,000 plus bonus. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials.
