In-House ParalegalWe are a rapidly growing crypto-currency based company, looking to hire our second in-house paralegal. Our legal team consists of a General Counsel, Assistant General Counsel, Paralegal and hopefully you!ResponsibilitiesDraft, file and manage various business entity formation documents with State agencies across the US and globally.Assist in implementing changes to regulatory filings to comply with legislation/regulations.File documents with federal and state licensing (in particular, state money transmitter license, NMLS and FinCEN).Draft and review legal contracts, such as non-disclosure, marketing, and independent contractor agreements.Review insurance policies, keeping up with deadlines and maintaining document organization.Respond to Requests for Information and/or subpoenas.Confirm information contained in documentation is correct.Maintain docket of important deadlines.Communicate with state filing agencies and other external contacts to resolve any issues that may arise.Gather necessary materials/documents needed for General Counsel using various company platforms.Provided support to colleagues for completion of tasks associated with corporate transactions and general corporate matters.Perform legal research.Required skills2+ years of experience as a ParalegalIn-house corporate law experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Skills:Experience and knowledge of regulations for cryptocurrency and fintech companiesExperience and knowledge of state money transmitter licensesExperience and knowledge of labor lawExperience and knowledge of real estate lawExperience and knowledge with sales contractsExperience and knowledge of insurance law/policies
