Location: Burnsville, MN (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 remote)
Compensation: $130K-$160K
About the Role
A global technology organization is expanding its U.S. legal team and seeking a Legal Counsel to support commercial agreements, corporate matters, and day-to-day business advisory work across its U.S. operations. This is a broad, hands-on role within a collaborative in-house legal group that partners closely with business leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (vendor, customer, service, supply, licensing, etc.)
- Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and operational matters
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk, business strategy, and decision-making
- Support cross-functional teams including operations, finance, procurement, and leadership
- Assist with policy development, process improvements, and legal best practices
- Manage outside counsel as needed
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 3+ years of legal experience, ideally with exposure to commercial contracts and corporate matters
- Prior in-house experience preferred but not required
- Strong business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with non-legal stakeholders
- Ability to work onsite in Burnsville three days per week
