What You'll Do

You'll be a true generalist with broad ownership across the legal function. The majority of your time will be spent on commercial contracts — drafting, reviewing, interpreting, revising, and negotiating a wide range of technology and services agreements across business functions. You will advise on business and legal issues as they arise, help develop and refine internal policies and procedures, and apply the company's unique risk tolerances to deliver consistent, well-calibrated legal guidance.

A meaningful portion of your work will touch M&A — supporting due diligence and transaction-related matters as the company continues to grow. Deep M&A experience isn't required, but familiarity with the process is a plus.

The remaining time will be spent on general corporate matters — compliance questions, cross-functional projects, and the day-to-day legal needs of a dynamic, evolving organization. No two days look the same.

Basic Requirements For The In-House Corporate Counsel

• J.D. and active bar membership
• 3+ years of experience at a law firm or in-house legal department with a transactional focus
• Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial technology and services agreements
• A practical, business-minded approach — you're a problem solver, not just a gatekeeper
• Some exposure to M&A or due diligence is a plus, but not required

Compensation

The base salary range is $170,000–$180,000, with bonus eligibility and full benefits. This is a company in growth mode, and the people who join now will be well-positioned for advancement, increased responsibility, and long-term upside as the legal team and the business scale together.
