About the Role

Happy To Help Caregiving is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our team serving Howe, Idaho and surrounding communities.

We are looking for reliable individuals who are ready to provide consistent, hands-on support to clients in their own homes. As an in-home caregiver, you'll provide meaningful one-on-one care that helps seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent.

This is relationship-driven work for someone who takes pride in being dependable, showing up for others, and making a real difference. Our caregivers provide personalized support while respecting each client's routines, preferences, independence, and dignity.

What You'll Do

Depending on each client's individualized care plan, responsibilities may include:

  • Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
  • Assisting with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
  • Assisting with mobility, repositioning, walking, and safe transfers
  • Preparing meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary needs
  • Providing feeding assistance when needed
  • Performing light housekeeping including laundry, dishes, changing linens, tidying, and maintaining a clean and safe home
  • Providing medication reminders according to the care plan (no medication administration)
  • Providing transportation assistance for appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and approved outings
  • Offering respite support for family caregivers
  • Following individualized care plans and documenting services provided
  • Observing and promptly reporting changes in a client's condition or needs
  • Supporting each client's independence, dignity, routines, and personal preferences

Caregivers are expected to arrive on time, communicate professionally, follow care instructions carefully, maintain appropriate boundaries, and provide dependable care during every shift.

Qualifications

We are looking for caregivers who are dependable, compassionate, patient, and comfortable providing one-on-one support.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions
  • Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
  • Professional, respectful, and dependable demeanor
  • Ability to work independently in a client's home

Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, CNA, assisted living, or similar experience is helpful, but not required. We value caregivers who are reliable, willing to learn, and committed to providing excellent care.

  • Pay: $15.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

  • Mileage reimbursement available for qualifying travel
